Sunflower Tears

"Sunflower Tear" is a horror game project spanning two semesters, focusing on gender inequality and incorporating traditional Chinese elements like birth control policies. Set in a 3D world created with Unreal Engine, it tells the story of a girl's struggles in a family that prefers a boy, aiming to raise awareness about gender issues. The game combines exploration and puzzle-solving, allowing players to uncover the story and character psychologies by interacting with the environment, set in an 80s Chinese countryside. Through immersive gameplay, the team hopes to influence attitudes towards gender equality.
